We teach people how to treat us by the way we behave. What are you teaching people? To love and respect you and acknowledge your contribution with gratitude. Or To think of you as SO dependable that you'll do anything for them, even at the cost of your own health and sanity.
On Thursday evening, I came home from work and kids activities feeling nauseous and barely able to lift my head for fear of throwing up. I thought it was food poisoning. I thought i would be back on my feet in 12 hours. But-- i had no 'ejections' of any kind. Hmmm.
